Goal 2 – Sustainable Textiles Switzerland
Promote fair wages and decent work for all.
Fair wages and safe workplaces for everyone in the textile supply chains.

Good workwear is made by people. That is why we produce exclusively with carefully vetted partners in Europe and are committed to the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct: from freedom of association and occupational safety to the prohibition of child and forced labour.
Due diligence obligations and transparency across all our suppliers and the textile value chains.
We have carried out amfori BSCI audits at our production sites. All production sites uphold decent working conditions. As a practice partner, we are currently working with STS on planning and taking part in a joint engagement for fair work in Europe. The aim is to determine living wages in North Macedonia together with various independent stakeholder partners from government, NGOs, textile initiatives and other STS members that produce in non-EU countries in Eastern Europe. The project application is under way and we are optimistic that the project will start in 2027. The project focuses on information about the living wages of employees in manufacturing, meaning cutting, printing, embroidery and sewing.
Living wages cannot be achieved single-handedly. They require the cooperation of the entire industry and of stakeholders such as local NGOs. For us, transparency also means addressing difficult issues openly. To date, there is no information on living incomes for countries in Eastern Europe. There are projects with STS members in Asian countries, including Vietnam and Türkiye, but not in Eastern Europe. Once the project has been carried out, and on the basis of the information on living wages, we can start implementing a guideline with our manufacturers as a pilot. In a second step, we want to extend this with our long-standing fabric supplier to the further production stages, such as dyeing, knitting and weaving through to spinning.
