Cookie Consent Tool

We use the Mailchimp Cookie Consent Tool to obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The provider is based abroad. The transmission of cookie data is only permitted to a country without an adequate level of data protection according to Art. 17 a. DSG if the data subject has explicitly consented to the disclosure.

Through the integration of this consent tool, users are shown a banner when accessing the site in which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by checking a box. The tool blocks the setting of all cookies that require consent until the respective user has given the corresponding consent by checking the box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on your respective device if you have given your consent. To ensure that the Cookie Consent Tool can clearly assign page views to individual users and record and store the consent settings made by you individually for a session, certain user information (including the IP address) is collected by the Cookie Consent Tool when you access our website, transmitted to the provider's server, and stored there. This data disclosure is based on Art. 45c lit. b of the Swiss Telecommunications Act (FMG). We are legally obligated to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user's consent.

By using our website, access to or storage of information (e.g., IP address) on your end devices can take place. With this access or storage, further processing of personal data in the sense of the DSG may be associated.

Use of Cookies

In addition to the previously mentioned data, cookies or similar technologies like pixels (hereinafter collectively referred to as "cookies") are used on your computer during your use and visit to our website. Cookies are either small databases that your browser stores on your device to save certain information or image files like pixels. The next time you visit our website with the same device, the information stored in the cookies will either be returned to our website ("First Party Cookie") or to another website to which the cookie belongs ("Third Party Cookie").

Through the stored and returned information, the respective website recognizes that you have already visited it with the browser of your device. This information is used by us to optimize and display the website according to your preferences. Only the cookie itself is identified on your device. Further storage of personal data only takes place with your explicit consent or if this is absolutely necessary to be able to use the offered and accessed service accordingly.

This website uses the following types of cookies, whose scope and functionality are explained below:

• Strictly necessary cookies (Type a)
• Functional and performance cookies (Type b)
• Cookies requiring consent (Type c)

Strictly Necessary Cookies (Type a)

Strictly necessary cookies ensure functions that you cannot use our websites without as intended. These cookies are used exclusively by us and are therefore First Party Cookies. This means that all information stored in the cookies is returned to our website.

Strictly necessary cookies serve, for example, to ensure that you remain logged in as a registered user when accessing various subpages of our website and do not have to re-enter your login data each time you access a new page.

The use of strictly necessary cookies on our website is possible without your consent. For this reason, strictly necessary cookies cannot be individually disabled or activated. However, you can disable cookies in your browser at any time (see below).

Functional and Performance Cookies (Type b)

Functional cookies allow our website to remember information already entered (such as registered name or language selection) and offer you improved and more personalized functions based on this. These cookies collect and store only anonymized information, so they cannot track your movements on other websites.

Performance cookies collect information about how our websites are used to improve their attractiveness, content, and functionality. These cookies help us determine, for example, whether and which subpages of our website are visited and what content users are particularly interested in. In particular, we record the number of accesses to a page, the number of subpages called up, the time spent on our website, the order of the pages visited, which search terms led you to us, the country, region, and, if applicable, the city from which access is made, and the proportion of mobile devices accessing our websites. In addition, we record movements, "clicks," and scrolling with the mouse to understand which areas of our website are particularly interesting to users. As a result, we can tailor the content of our website more precisely to the needs of our users and optimize our offer. The IP address of your computer, transmitted for technical reasons, is automatically anonymized and does not allow us to draw any conclusions about individual users.

You can object to the use of functional and performance cookies at any time by adjusting your cookie settings accordingly.

Cookies Requiring Consent (Type c)

Cookies that are neither strictly necessary (Type a) nor functional or performance cookies (Type b) will only be used after your consent.

We reserve the right to use information obtained through cookies from an anonymized analysis of the behavior of visitors to our website to display specific advertisements for certain of our products on our own websites. We believe that you, as a user, will benefit from this, as we will display advertisements or content based on your surfing behavior, assuming that it matches your interests, and you will thus see less randomly scattered advertising or content that may be less interesting to you.

Marketing cookies come from external advertising companies (Third Party Cookies) and are used to collect information about the websites visited by the user to create targeted advertising for the user.

The processing of cookies is based on Art. 45c lit. b FMG.

Opt-out for Marketing Cookies

You can also manage cookies used for online advertising via tools developed in many countries as part of self-regulation programs, such as the one in the US: https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the one in the EU: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices.

Management and Deletion of All Cookies

We inform you that you can also set your internet browser to generally prevent the storage of cookies on your device or ask you each time whether you agree to the setting of cookies. Once set, you can delete cookies at any time. The exact procedure for this can be found in the help function of your browser.

The above-described cookies and third-party requests are set on your device by the following services through our website:

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which can analyze the use of websites.

When using Google Analytics 4, so-called "cookies" are used. Cookies are databases stored on your device that enable an analysis of your use of a website. The information collected by cookies about your use of the website (including the IP address transmitted by your device, shortened to the last digits as described below) is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Information may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC, based in the USA, where the information is further processed. GA4 also offers server-side tracking, which allows us to pseudonymize user data on our own server before transmitting it to Google.

When using Google Analytics 4, the IP address transmitted by your device while using the website is automatically collected and processed only in a pseudonymized manner, so that direct personal identification of the information collected is excluded. If we, as a company, do not carry out server-side pseudonymization, automatic pseudonymization occurs by having the IP address transmitted by your device shortened by Google within Switzerland, the European Union (EU), or other contracting states of the European Economic Area (EEA).

On our behalf, Google uses this and other information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on your website activities, and provide other services related to your website use and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your device and shortened as part of Google Analytics 4 is not merged with other Google data. The data collected as part of Google Analytics 4 is stored for two months and then deleted.

Google Analytics 4 enables us to recognize user characteristics, such as "demographic characteristics," based on browser fingerprints. This allows us to evaluate cross-device information about the age, gender, and interests of website users based on interest-based advertising and third-party information. This makes it possible to determine and differentiate user groups on the website to optimize marketing measures. The data collected via the "demographic characteristics" feature cannot be attributed to a specific person, and thus not to you personally. The data collected via the "demographic characteristics" feature is stored for two months and then deleted.

All the above processing operations, in particular the setting of Google Analytics cookies for the storage and reading of information on the device you are using, only occur if you have set your browser to accept cookies. Otherwise, Google Analytics 4 will not be used while you visit the website.

We have entered into a contract with Google for the use of Google Analytics 4, obligating Google to protect our website users' data and not share it with third parties.

The provider has signed the standard contractual clauses recognized by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) that comply with the EU's prevailing data protection requirements (https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/publications/standard-contractual-clauses-controllers-and-processors.

Further legal notices on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We inform you that you can reject cookies. You can disable these in the web browser at any time.

Google Ads

Our website uses Google Ads, an online advertising measure that works in collaboration with Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States. The purpose is to direct visitors to our website through targeted audience outreach.

As part of this online advertising program, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. After clicking on a Google ad, a cookie is placed for conversion tracking purposes. These cookies, small databases, are stored by your web browser on your device. The cookie allows Google and us to track that you clicked on an ad and visited our website.

Each Google Ads customer receives a unique cookie, which cannot be tracked by other Ads customers. Conversion cookies are used only to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who use conversion tracking. These statistics show how many users clicked on their ads and were redirected to pages with the conversion tracking tag. However, no information is provided that allows personal identification of users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt out by disabling the conversion cookie in your browser settings. This will prevent you from being included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The provider has signed the standard contractual clauses recognized by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) that comply with the EU's prevailing data protection requirements (https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/publications/standard-contractual-clauses-controllers-and-processors.

Further information on Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

We inform you that you can reject cookies. You can disable these in the web browser at any time.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

With the Google Tag Manager solution, it is possible to manage website tags for marketing purposes via an intuitive user interface. The Tag Manager is solely responsible for monitoring the activation of tags. Regarding these specific third-party providers, corresponding explanations are available in their respective data protection policies. However, this information is not used by the Google Tag Management platform. If you have disabled cookies or made other adjustments, these settings will be applied to all tracking tags that are used via Google Tag Manager, ensuring that the tool does not make any changes to your cookie settings.

We inform you that you can reject cookies. You can disable these in the web browser at any time.

Google reCAPTCHA

To ensure sufficient data security when submitting forms, we use the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

This service is primarily used to distinguish whether an entry is made by a natural person or abusively by machine and automated processing. The service results in the transmission of your IP address and possibly other personal data to Google. Google's separate privacy policy applies to this data transmission. Further information on Google's privacy policy can be found at https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

The provider has signed the standard contractual clauses recognized by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) that comply with the EU's prevailing data protection requirements (https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/publications/standard-contractual-clauses-controllers-and-processors.

We inform you that you can reject cookies. You can disable these in the web browser at any time.

YouTube

We have integrated videos from the provider YouTube, Google Ireland Limited Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland, into our online offering, which are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. We have no influence over this data transmission. The purpose of the processing is for marketing purposes.

By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the respective subpage of our website. This happens regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish your profile to be associated with YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for advertising, market research, and/or needs-based website design. Such an evaluation also takes place (even for users who are not logged in) to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

In this context, user data may be processed on systems outside Switzerland. Data transfers abroad may be based on Art. 17 DSG. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube can be found in YouTube's privacy policy. There, you will also find further information about your rights and settings options to protect your privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We inform you that you can reject cookies. You can disable these in the web browser at any time. Google also offers several options to opt out of the collection of personal data by Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy#infochoices.

Hotjar

This website uses the Hotjar analysis software. The provider is Hotjar Ltd., 3 Lyons Range, 20 Bisazza Street, Sliema SLM 1640, Malta.

By using Hotjar, we can analyze user behavior on the website more closely and optimize it further. The information collected (mouse pointer movement, clicks, scroll movement) is anonymized and transmitted to Hotjar. Information entered is obscured on our website before the data is transmitted to Hotjar. Hotjar itself generates reports from this information, which are available to us for analysis and evaluation. To analyze users and their use of our website across pages, Hotjar stores a cookie on the user's computer.

We inform you that you can reject cookies. You can disable these in the web browser at any time.

Further information on data protection can be found at https://www.hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy.

LinkedIn Insight-Tag (Pixel)

On this page, we use the Insight Tag (Pixel) from LinkedIn. The service is provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Through LinkedIn's Insight Tag, we receive information about the visitors to our page. If a user is registered on LinkedIn, we can analyze the visitor's professional data (such as career level, company size, country, location, industry, and job title) to better tailor the page to the respective target groups. Additionally, with the help of the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we can measure the activities of visitors to our website (conversion tracking). Such conversion tracking can also be carried out across multiple devices used by a user. LinkedIn Insight Tag also enables a retargeting function, which allows us to place targeted ads outside the website, with LinkedIn stating that the ad recipient is not identified.

We share responsibility with LinkedIn for operating the site and, thus, maintain a so-called "joint responsibility" toward the user. We have entered into an agreement with LinkedIn in accordance with Art. 33 DSG.

In addition, LinkedIn collects log files. These include, among others, URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics, and time of access. The IP addresses are shortened or (if used to reach LinkedIn members across devices) pseudonymized. LinkedIn deletes LinkedIn members' IP addresses after seven days. The pseudonymized data collected through this procedure is then deleted by LinkedIn within 180 days.

As website operators, we cannot assign the data collected in this way to specific individuals. LinkedIn uses the data collected in this way for its advertising purposes. Data storage on servers in the USA is likely.

Details can be found in LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

To prevent LinkedIn from analyzing your usage behavior and objecting to targeted advertising, you can do so at the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls.

Additionally, LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal information for advertising purposes in the account settings. To avoid linking the data collected from our website to your LinkedIn account, we recommend logging out of your LinkedIn account before visiting our site.

Facebook Fanpage

We have integrated a component of the Facebook service on our website, which is a link to our Facebook fan page. For the information service offered here, we rely on the technical platform of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter: Facebook).

There is joint responsibility under Art. 33 DSG between Facebook and the operator of a Facebook fan page for the personal data processed via the Facebook fan page. For this reason, we have entered into an agreement with Facebook on joint responsibility.

When accessing a Facebook fan page, the IP address of your device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymized and deleted after 90 days. In addition, Facebook stores further information about the end devices of its users, such as the browser used. It is possible that Facebook can associate IP addresses with individual users. If you are logged into your Facebook account while visiting our fan page, a cookie with your Facebook ID will be placed on your device. Facebook can track that you have visited our fan page and how you used it due to this cookie. Facebook uses this information to present you with content or advertisements tailored to you. If you do not want this, you should log out of your Facebook account or disable the "stay logged in" feature. We also recommend deleting the cookies on your device and restarting your browser. This process will delete Facebook information that can link to you. However, if you want to use the interactive functions of our fan page, you must log in again with your Facebook login credentials. By doing so, Facebook can link you to it again. The extent to which Facebook uses data from visiting Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are attributed to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data, and whether data from visiting the Facebook page is passed on to third parties, is not conclusively and clearly named by Facebook and is not known to us. We can only refer to Facebook's privacy policy regarding this matter. The data collected about you in this context is processed by Facebook and possibly transferred to countries outside Switzerland and the European Union.

What information Facebook receives and how it is used is described by Facebook in its data usage policies. There you will also find information on contact options with Facebook and on setting options for advertisements. The privacy policy of Facebook is available at the following link: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

The provider has signed the standard contractual clauses recognized by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) that comply with the EU's prevailing data protection requirements (https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/publications/standard-contractual-clauses-controllers-and-processors).

Instagram

We maintain a page on the Instagram platform, which can be accessed via a link on our website. The platform is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Hanover Reach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland.

We inform you that you use this Instagram page and its functions at your own responsibility. This applies particularly to the use of interactive functions (such as commenting or rating).

When visiting our Instagram page, Instagram collects, among other things, your IP address and other information stored as cookies on your PC. This information is used to provide us, as operators of Instagram pages, with statistical information about the use of the Instagram page.

In this context, user data may be processed on systems outside Switzerland. Data transfers abroad may be based on Art. 17 DSG.

The information Instagram receives and how it is used is described by the provider Meta Platforms in its privacy policy. There you will also find information on contact options with Instagram and on setting options for advertisements.

It is not known to what extent Instagram uses data from visiting Instagram pages for its purposes, to what extent activities on the Instagram page are attributed to individual users, how long Instagram stores this data, and whether data from visiting the Instagram page is passed on to third parties.

When accessing an Instagram page, the IP address of your device is transmitted to Instagram. According to Instagram, this IP address is anonymized and deleted after 90 days. Instagram also stores information about the devices of its users (for example, as part of the "Login Notifications" feature); Instagram may be able to associate IP addresses with individual users.

If you are currently logged in to Instagram as a user, a cookie with your Instagram ID is stored on your device. As a result, Instagram can track that you visited this page and how you used it. This applies to all other Instagram pages.

Instagram's privacy policy is available at the following link: https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875.

LinkedIn

We have integrated a link to the LinkedIn portal on our website. The professional network "LinkedIn" is operated by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

We maintain a company page on LinkedIn. This is used to actively and timely engage potential employees in a professional environment. On this page, we also share information about our company, presenting ourselves externally.

We share responsibility with LinkedIn for operating the site and, thus, maintain a so-called "joint responsibility" toward the user. We have entered into an agreement with LinkedIn in accordance with Art. 33 DSG.

It may be that in this context, user data will be processed on systems outside Switzerland. Data transfers abroad may be based on Art. 17 DSG.

The detailed information on how the data is processed and used by us and LinkedIn, as well as a contact option and your respective rights and settings options to protect your privacy, can be found in LinkedIn's privacy policy:

https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Twitter

Please note that a Twitter component is integrated into our website. Twitter is a multilingual public microblogging service where users can publish and share so-called "tweets." These short messages are accessible to everyone, including those who are not registered on Twitter. Additionally, the tweets are displayed to the respective user's "followers," who are other Twitter users following the activities of a specific user. Furthermore, Twitter allows a wide audience to be reached through hashtags, links, and retweets.

The operator of Twitter is Twitter, Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA.

The data you provide during the use of this service is processed by Twitter Inc. and may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland and the European Union. These data may include your IP address, the application used, information about your device (including device ID and application ID), websites visited, your location, and your mobile provider.

These data are associated with your Twitter account or Twitter profile. We have no control over the type and scope of the data processed by Twitter, the nature of the processing and use, or the transmission of this data to third parties. Further information can be found in Twitter's privacy policy https://twitter.com/de/privacy.

You can limit the processing of your data in the general settings of your Twitter account and under the "Privacy and Security" section. In addition, you can prevent Twitter from accessing other apps on mobile devices in the settings. More information on these points is available on the following Twitter support pages: https://support.twitter.com/articles/105576

Please note that you use the Twitter short message service and its functions at your own responsibility.

TikTok

We have integrated a link to our TikTok page on our website to present ourselves more comprehensively and potentially engage with you as a visitor and user of this TikTok page. The provider is TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland. Please note that TikTok collects and processes certain information about your visit to our TikTok page, even if you do not have a TikTok user account or are not logged into TikTok.

In addition, TikTok provides us with anonymous statistics that help us evaluate the quality of our TikTok page and content. These statistics are based on usage data TikTok collects about your interactions with our TikTok page, which we cannot access. As operators of this TikTok page, we only have access to your public TikTok profile. What information is visible depends on your profile settings.

The purpose of data processing by TikTok is to process inquiries or contributions and to adapt and improve the content on our TikTok page according to your usage preferences (e.g., number of followers, views of specific page sections, user statistics by age, geography, and language). We store your personal data outside TikTok on our own systems as long as they are necessary for the purposes of collection or if legal retention obligations exist.

It is possible that some of the information collected will also be processed outside Switzerland and the European Union by TikTok. To ensure an adequate level of data protection, TikTok uses the standard contractual clauses recognized by the FDPIC in cases where there is no adequacy decision by Switzerland for the respective third country.

Data Protection Information for Applicants

We are pleased that you are interested in us and have applied for a position in our company. We would like to provide you with information on how we process your personal data in connection with your application.

Which of your data will be processed by us? And for what purposes?

We process the data you send us in connection with your application to assess your suitability for the position (or possibly other open positions in our company) and to carry out the application process.

On what legal basis is this based?

The processing of the data is permitted if it is necessary for deciding whether to establish an employment relationship.

How long will the data be stored?

Applicant data will be deleted six months after a rejection. If you have consented to further storage of your personal data, we will include your data in our applicant pool. The data will be deleted from the applicant pool after two years.

If you are offered a position during the application process, the data from the applicant data system will be transferred to our human resources information system.

To whom will the data be disclosed?

Your application data will be reviewed by the HR department upon receipt. Suitable applications will then be forwarded internally to the department heads responsible for the respective open position. The further process will then be coordinated. In principle, only the persons who need access to your data for the proper handling of our application process will have access to it.

Where will the data be processed?

The data will be processed exclusively in data centers in Switzerland.

Children

Our offer is generally aimed at adults. Persons under the age of 18 should not transmit personal data to us without the consent of their parents or guardians.
