Vote on the finalists' upcycling designs!

Three creative talents from the Knitwear Specialist STF program will demonstrate how worn-out inner jackets are given new life through upcycling

Upcycling project ‘Grey in a New Light’

The aim was to use parts of the grey jacket and combine them with self-knitted elements. This creates unique garments that are not only sustainable, but also creative and individual.

‘Grey on grey‘ trend:

The monochrome look in shades of grey, also known as ‘grey on grey’, is currently a popular fashion trend. The main colour palette includes grey in all its variations and may include 2-4 accent colours.

The 3 STF finalists with their upcycling design

Chiara Elspass_gruppe.png

"Best of both worlds - street meets workwear. With this in mind, the deconstructed workfashion jacket was combined with new knitted parts that are similar in design to the original fabric to create a unique interpretation of the bomber jacket."

Kathrin Büchel_gruppe.png

"Upcycling offers a great opportunity to combine knitwear with different materials to create unique new garments."

Regula Bouvard-Villiger_gruppe.png

"Workwear becomes streetwear: classic cut, hood and blue details make this jacket a style statement."

Every vote counts - the countdown runs until 31 July 2025!
